Original Miniature: Down the Jackalope Hole

30 Paintings in 30 Days: Day 2 – Down the Jackalope Hole

“Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
- Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

Day 2 of the challenge! The creative juices were flowing this morning so I created three potential sketches for today’s painting and asked my followers on Instagram and Faceboook of which one they thought I should paint. The jackalope won, which is very fitting for the theme.

Down the Jackalope hole we go,  we have to go beneath the surface to dig deeper and find this elusive “Wonderland”.

I’ve been so encouraged by the wonderful feedback these mini paintings have received on my Social Media accounts. I can hardly wait for tomorrow to create the next painting in the series! I’d like to thank you all for your support, it means the world to me.

More tomorrow!
