Two thirds of the way through the painting challenge. Phew! I have to admit I’m looking forward to the challenge is complete, it’s becoming a struggle to keep up these paintings while also maintaining my regular work schedule. At this point I’ve also fallen far from my original theme which was Alice in Wonderland, instead I find myself painting more random subjects.
Today’s painting is the Pumpkin Sparrow; he is the most dashing of Autumn Birds. He stands without equal when it comes to its exquisite taste in garments. These birds are most often seen in temperate climates during October.
This small painting comes matted and ready to hang in a beautiful frame. The Pumpkin Sparrow is painted in gouache on canvas paper and measures 5″ x 7″. He’s available for purchase, just click the button below.
