Artist Appreciation Month: Alicia Vogel

Artist Appreciation Month – Weekly Feature #1: Alicia Vogel

August is Artist Appreciation Month and to celebrate I have kicked off an Art Challenge. The objective is to draw another artist whose work you admire, share the drawing on your social media and hashtag it #ArtistMonth, every week I pick an artist to feature here on the blog.

The first week’s feature is Austin based illustrator Alicia Vogel.

Alicia secured the feature with her fantastic portrait of French Romantic painter Eugene Delacroix. Alicia excels at comics, portraits as well as fantasy illustrations. Her style is an interesting mix between line work and a painterly color approach.

You can find more of Alicia’s work on her website at: AliciaVogel.com and also follow her on Instagram.
