Louie Del Carmen

Here is another treasure from one of my blog runs. Unfortunately I cannot find the blog link of where I originally found this but it does have an artist name on it: Louie Del Carmen.

Louie Del Carmen is an illustrator and animator who have worked on popular films such as Kung Fu Panda, Kim Possible, Lilo and Stitch, Justice League and many more. He lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife and two kids. You can find more about Louie and his work at his website. Link posted at the end of this post.

The interaction between anatomy, movement and clothes is important for giving characters a convincing appearance. Folds and creases that are misplaced can fully bodge the anatomy of your drawing. It can be tricky to learn how our movements affect our clothes so these pointers by Louie del Carmen are very helpful.
