30 Paintings in 30 Days: Day 28 – Daughter of the Jarl

The daily painting challenge is coming to an end in a few days, today was hectic because I had to rush my cat to the vet – he is going to be okay, but he has a bad stomach bug.

For today’s piece I’m still on a viking themed roll, unfortunately some of the fun swirly-pattern details on the edge here were covered by the frame, but you can see them in the sketch. This is the only human I’ve painted during this series, she was fun to work on though I wished I had gone with a larger size, so I’d had had room for more than her face.
