Miniature Original: The Icelandic Unicorn

30 Paintings in 30 Days: Day 7 – The Elusive Icelandic Unicorn

Today marks the first week of the 30 Paintings in 30 Days challenge – so far so good. I’m starting to get a much better hold of painting traditionally which is wonderful.

Today’s painting was born out of suggestions from the lovely people on my Facebook page. I’ve named it: The Elusive Icelandic Unicorn; the least known of the Northern Unicorn races. The Icelandic Unicorn is particularly elusive. They prefer frosty climates due to their thick coats and love nothing more than a snow-clad landscape.

Thank you for reading! Should you be interested the painting is available for purchase, just click the button below.
