Client Work: The Rabbit Garden

This piece is one of the most fun commissions I have had this year. I was contacted by a lovely woman who was looking to have her mother’s garden painted for a birthday present. The way she described the animal wild life in the garden was just delightful, the animals all sounded like such characters – like taken straight of of a children’s story.

The wild rabbits were to be the main focus so I sent her some character studies of them before we moved on to the composition for the final piece. The whole process was a really smooth ride, which was wonderful and made it so much fun to work on.
