Personal Work: Apocalina

]I’m working to target my portfolio towards middle-grade book covers and this is one of the most recent pieces I have finished for that purpose. It doubles as part of a personal project as well, that will hopefully turn into a novel.

If you have been following along on Instagram you have likely seen this illustration come to life, if not and you would like to see some of the process head on over and check it out here.

Apocalina takes place in a post-apocalyptic future. It is the tale of a young girl named Apocalina, who is the last surviving “builder” of the human species, meaning she is a brilliant inventor. In this Dystopian future, so much knowledge has been lost, that the human species have forgotten how to construct and create – of course conflict ensues!
