The Pumpkin Parliament was created as a tribute to Halloween. During my childhood in Denmark, Halloween wasn’t a known holiday, so it wasn’t until I immigrated to the US that I truly got to experience it and I promptly fell in love with its colors and whimsically spooky mood. All feelings that I channeled into this piece.
This illustration is the 2nd edition of The Pumpkin Parliament, which features a variety of changes from the 1st edition.
The 1st edition was made in 2015 and was only available in a limited edition of 50, which has since then sold out.
